FAQ’s

Are the courts ever block booked? 
Yes, 2 courts are booked as follows:-
– Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 6:15pm April to August for Summer League Tennis
– Sundays from 10:30am November to early March for Winter League Tennis
– Fridays from 6:00pm April until September for Club Nights
– Saturdays from 1pm until 5pm for Junior Coaching (coaching times may change)

Do juniors have to be members of the club to take join the coaching classes?
Yes

Are there opportunities for members to play league tennis?
Yes, the club runs a number of teams so we aim to accommodate all members wanting to play league tennis.

Is there any adult coaching available?
At present, there are no adult coaching sessions organised by the club.
Members can organise individual or group coaching with Phil Down our juniors’ coach.

How do gain entry to the courts?
By entering the number provided to you into the combination lock.

Are non-members allowed to play?
Yes provided EITHER they are playing as a guest of a member OR it is their first visit to a club night as a prospective member. There is a guest fee or £2 payable – please make payment to a member of the committee.

Is access available to the Village Hall?
The following people have keys to the main hall – Jane Walters (for coaching), Sue Foreman (for Committee Meetings).
