Can I book a court?
Bookable Court - only the single court is bookable and for 1 hour maximum (instructions on the homepage). You may only book 6 days in advance.

League Access - when league matches are being played they take an additional 2 courts. Note only 1 league match is scheduled per weekday (Mon-Thu) so apart from occassional rearranged league matches (which should also be booked by the Match Captain!) we plan to maintain 1 free non bookable court.

Turn Up and Play Access - the remaining court is available for members to turn up and play. If you are using this court and someone arrives to plat next you should finish your set and let the next party use the court. (The next party could offer to mix in after completion of the set.)

Club Night (Friday) There are no league matches or bookable courts on Friday evening.

Junior Coaching (Saturday Afternoons) runs from 1 until 5pm. The bookable court only should be available whilst junior coaching is in progress.

Do juniors have to be members of the club to take join the coaching classes?
Yes

Are there opportunities for members to play league tennis?
Yes, the club runs a number of teams so we aim to accommodate all members wanting to play league tennis.


Is there any adult coaching available?
At present there are no adult coaching sessions organised by the club.
Members can organise individual or group coaching with Marcel Lambert our juniors' coach
.


How do gain entry to the courts?
By entering the number provided to you into the combination lock.

Are non members allowed to play?

Yes provided EITHER they are playing as a guest of a member OR it is their first visit to a club night as a prospective member. There is guest fee or £2 payable - please make payment to a member of the committee.

Is access available to the Village Hall?

The following people have keys to the main hall - Jane Walters (for coaching), Sue Foreman (for Committee Meetings).The following people have access to the referee's changing room for toilets and changing facilities - Nick Duff, Becky Park, John Marrinan & Emma Laws-Cunningham.
